OVERVIEW:
During this course, students are asked to prepare for their graduation design projects by starting a process of research to develop their own proposals. A comprehensive and grounded research can be achieved by addressing a series of essential aspects such as literature review, precedent study (or case study), site context, programmatic driver, design and representational strategies, etc. Over their graduation projects, students are expected to use design methods and design research as forms of knowledge production.
