Introduction to the principles and methods of biostatistics and epidemiology with application in medicine and biology, descriptive statistics, sampling, probability and probability distributions, hypothesis testing, correlation and regression. In addition, the course covers the basic concepts of epidemiology, including the spread of epidemics and common diseases in Palestine, their patterns of occurrence, and the concept of causality.
