Course Description

ENGC3340 is a research writing course where English major students (Translation) engage in systematic and supported exercises to enhance their reading, critical thinking, writing and research skills. Emphasizing practical skills, students will master topic selection, thesis development, source evaluation, essay outlining and research paper organization. Through the study of diverse texts, students will navigate each stage of the writing process, crafting well-structured, logically coherent research papers with meticulous attention to citation and bibliography standards.

Note: This course targets students in their third and fourth year only.
